  • How often should I mulch?

    For optimal maintenance, it's advisable to apply mulch annually to maintain a layer between 2 to 4 inches thick.

  • Do I need to remove the old mulch?

    Removal is only necessary if the existing layer is excessively thick. Otherwise, simply loosen the old mulch and apply a new layer on top.

  • How do I calculate how much mulch/soil I need?

    To determine the amount needed, measure the area to be covered and decide on the desired depth, typically 3 inches. Use these measurements to calculate the required cubic yards.

  • What is the difference between topsoil and fill dirt?

    Topsoil is the uppermost layer of soil, rich in organic matter and ideal for planting. Fill dirt, on the other hand, is subsoil used primarily to fill large depressions or holes.

  • When should I install topsoil?

    While spring is the optimal time for topsoil installation and preparation, it can be applied at any time when the ground isn't frozen.

  • Do you deliver in bulk or bags?

    Most suppliers, including us, offer bulk delivery. This is typically measured and sold by the cubic yard.

  • Do I need to be home for service?

    Your presence isn't usually required for delivery or service, provided we have clear access to the designated area in your yard.

  • How do you handle rain days?

    In the event of rain, we typically reschedule the service for the next available dry day to ensure optimal conditions for installation.
